Our Toy Story Party starts with a Disco where the children are encouraged to dance. At the same time the Party Entertainer is getting to know each child individually while face painting (arm/hand painting is also offered, which some younger children find more appealing).
Next the Party Entertainer leads the children on a wonderful make believe Disney adventure where the children are transported into lots of their favourite Disney films in a quest to find “Buzz Lightyear”. Using various sound effects and actions to trigger their imaginations, the children enter their very own Disney adventure. All our shows are written by ourselves and recorded in our own purpose built recording studio and are therefore unique to us.
Now it’s time to meet the star of the show, Buzz Lightyear (Buzz is a very large hand made Puppet with a real arm and hand which he uses to the astonishment of the kids). Buzz entertains the children with some help from his new friend, “Naughty Rabbit” who was abandoned by Sid (The nasty boy who lives next door to Andy). It seems that the more naughty Rabbit is, the more the children love him, especially when he squirts them with a water pistol!. Buzz Lightyear and his friend interact with the children and keep them entertained with pantomime type antics, jokes, games, activities and even a bubble machine!
Towards the end of the first hour we would assume that it is time for lunch/tea (provided by you). The Party Entertainer will take this opportunity to start blowing up modelling balloons ready for the end of the party, we understand that children do not want to wait long for their balloon modelling and speed the process up by preparing some balloons while the children are eating. A selection of Disney songs are played while the children eat.
Following food, the children are then sat down in front of the puppet theatre ready for “Happy Birthday!” Buzz Lightyear joins the children and organises the happy birthday sing song. The Birthday Girl/Boy will be thrilled when Buzz himself actually sings Happy Birthday to them and presents them with a modelled balloon. (Don’t forget your camera and a lighter for the candles)
Next it’s time for a Toy Story adventure game lead by the Party Entertainer, keeping the children involved and entertained where the children pretend to be their favourite characters from the toy story films.
Now it’s time for party dancing and Buzz asks all the boys and girls to copy the Party Entertainer in some party actions songs. Buzz tells the children that if they join in the dancing they may win a special balloon prize! (We have party action songs for younger and older children)
Finale – it’s time to find out who will be receiving those lovely balloon prizes. Buzz decides that all the boys and girls who have come to the party have been so good that they are all winners and the Party Entertainer makes balloon prizes to everyone and then thanks everyone for coming. We then put on some Disney mood music for everyone to leave by so the atmosphere is still quite magical. We believe that it’s the small details that make all the difference!
To produce the disco music and effect lighting we at Funtastic Parties only use professional Pat tested equipment.
