MERMAID & PIRATE PARTY - ideal for ages 3 - 7 yrs

The Party Helper (Female Entertainer) starts our Mermaid & Pirate Party getting to know the children while face painting (music for the Mermaid & Pirate Party and effect lights are provided by professional disco equipment.)  We also offer to paint hands/arms very popular with the boys.

Next the Party Helper leads the children on a wonderful make believe adventure in a quest to find Shelly the mermaid. Using various sound effects and actions to trigger their imaginations, the children are transported to their very own mermaid & Pirate adventure. All our shows are written by ourselves and recorded in our own purpose built recording studio and are therefore unique to us.

Now it’s time to meet the star of the show, Shelly herself (Shelly is a beautiful large puppet mermaid). Shelly entertains the children with some help from her side kick, the very popular “Squirt the fish”.  It seems that the naughtier Squirt is, the more the children love him.  Shelly and Squirt interact with the children and keep them entertained with pantomime type antics, jokes, games, activities and even a bubble machine.

Towards the end of the first hour we would assume that it is time for the birthday lunch/tea (provided by yourselves.) We now play some of the slower Disney type songs for the children to listen to whilst they are eating. We take this opportunity to blow up modelling balloons ready for the end of the party, so there is less of a wait for children to receive a modelled balloon, all we have to do is twist them in to swords, dogs, flowers etc

Following food its time to bring out the birthday cake and organise the Happy Birthday Sing Song which is sung by shelly which is quite magical for the birthday child ,giving you plenty of time to cut the cake for party bags, don’t forget a lighter and your camera!
We then play a Mermaid & Pirate game called “creatures of the deep” which is another magical adventure game followed by some action dancing.

Finale –Shelly will then call the birthday girl/boy up to the front where the party helper presents them with a “special” modelled balloon prize and also give out modelled balloons to all the boys and girls. We have three cheers for the birthday girl/boy and thank everyone for coming. We then put on some slower Disney type music for everyone to leave by so the atmosphere is still quite magical (We believe that it’s the small details that make all the difference!)
