High School Musical Party
Our Team of two female entertainers start our HSM show getting to know the children while face painting (music from the films and effect lights are provided by professional disco equipment.) We also offer to paint hands/arms.
Next it time for games which we play to the music from HSM so we keep all those dedicated fans happy.
Towards the end of the first hour we would assume that it is time for the birthday lunch/tea (provided by yourselves.) We now play some of the slower songs from HSM for the children to listen to whilst they are eating. We take this opportunity to organise our HSM concert with the children ready for the second half of the party. We also blow up modelling balloons for the end of the party.
Following food we then sit the children down ready for the puppet show and this is when we bring out the birthday cake and organise the Happy Birthday Sing Song which we sing in English and Welsh, (giving you plenty of time to cut the cake for party bags) Don’t forget a lighter and your camera!
Then we have our puppet show which lasts about fifteen minutes. The puppet show is a story about a spoilt Princess who loves High School Musical and wants to be the best dancer in the land. Things don’t go as planned for the spoilt Princess when the Wizard puts a dancing spell on her (we use songs from High School Musical as the back track to the puppet show.) All our shows are interactive where the children shout back at the puppets like a pantomime, keeping them involved and entertained. At the end of the puppet show, the wizard casts a spell with the help of the children, to make it snow. We use a snow foam machine and it rains down little snow flakes over everyone which is, quite simply, magical! (Don’t worry this does not make a mess as the snow foam is made from tiny bubbles which dissipate to nothing.)
Time for our High School Musical Concert with the children. This is our favourite part of the party. We are always amazed at the confidence of the children as the girls and boys perform songs and dances in front of our High School Musical back-drop. This always proves very popular with the parents too! Remember your video camera.
Finale – we then call the birthday girl/boy up to the front where we present them with a “special” balloon prize and also give out balloons to all the boys and girls. We have three cheers for the birthday girl/boy and thank everyone for coming. We then put on some Disney mood music for everyone to leave by so the atmosphere is still quite magical (We believe that it’s the small details that make all the difference!) |
